Carmela T. Larino, Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Carmela T. Larino, OD is proud to be serving the community in which she grew up. She attended the local Rowland Unified schools from elementary through high school. Dr. Larino then attended UC Irvine before receiving her doctorate degree from Southern California College of Optometry. For the 2003-2004 year, she was honored at her alumni, Nogales High School, by being inducted onto their Wall of Fame. Currently, she is a member of the American Optometric Association, Califorinia Optometric Association, and Rio Hondo Optometric Society, where she stays up-to-date on the latest in eyecare.
Since 1978, Dr. Larino has been a fellow community resident. The melting pot community has helped her become tri-lingual, able to speak English, Spanish, as well as her native Tagalog/Filipino. As a local, you might find her eating at your favorite restaurant, shopping at a local store, or attending a community event. Otherwise, she may be traveling the world or she may simply be taking care of the vision needs of the community in which she grew up.
